Arsenal's multi-million-pound move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has been cast in doubt as both parties have reportedly failed to agree on one thing that has left the Gunners 'frustrated'. Mikel Arteta has a new No.9 at the top of his summer transfer window wishlist, with the likes of Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga also already lined up to join the club.
The 22-year-old frontman has long been one of their priority targets in that position, with the player scoring 39 goals in 87 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit. Such talent demands a sky-high fee with the Gunners reportedly 'willing' to pay the £70million asking price for his services.
This would be a nearly 300% profit for Leipzig, with Sky in Germany claiming they had paid around £20million to Red Bull Salzburg just two years ago. But according to The Sun, the Sesko camp are looking for "much more" money than what Arsenal transfer chief Andrea Berta is planning to pay in wages which could force them to look in a different direction.

Viktor Gyokeres, wanted by Premier League rivals Man United and Spurs, is on their radar. It's understood the 27-year-old is eyeing a move to the Premier League this summer, but is second-choice behind Sesko.
It is claimed this is something the Swede is reportedly 'not happy' with and could see him prefer a move elsewhere. This is the latest in a growing list of transfer stumbling blocks for Arsenal.
One of their rumoured defensive targets, Crystal Palace centre back Marc Guehi, could opt for a move to reigning top flight champions Liverpool over regular first-team football assurances, with current Gunners partnership William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes almost certainly the first names on the team sheet.
Liverpool also have the cash to splash after selling Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £40million. Arne Slot has been quite busy to say the least, signing Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Ármin Pécsi—and a deal for Bournemouth fullback Milos Kerkez looking all but a formality—the Reds are doing all they can to keep Arsenal away from their first Premier League title in over 21 years.
