Notification has been issued by the Central Selection Board, Bihar (CSBC) for the recruitment of Driver Constable. According to this notification, the recruitment of Driver Constable will be done in various districts, units of Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police Corps. The application process for these posts will start from July 21, 2025. Important information for application

The selected candidates will be provided Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.

To apply for this post, the candidates must have passed class 10th and 12th from a recognized board of India.

Also, candidates should have at least one year of experience driving a light motor vehicle or heavy motor vehicle.

The minimum height of the candidates should be 165 cm, 81 cm without chest expansion, and 86 cm after chest expansion.

Age limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the date of birth mentioned in the Class 10th or its equivalent certificate. The minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 20 years. The maximum age of general category candidates is 25 years, maximum age of OBC candidates is 27 years, maximum age of OBC female candidates is 28 years, maximum age of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates is 30 years.

Application fee
To apply, candidates will also have to pay the application fee. The application fee for candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and natives of Bihar state has been fixed at Rs 180. Apart from this, the application fee for other candidates has been fixed at Rs 675.

Selection will be done in this way.

Candidates will be selected in four phases. Written exam will be conducted in the first phase. Physical efficiency test will be conducted in the second phase, motor vehicle driver test in the third phase and document verification will be conducted in the fourth phase.
