If you are a 10th or 12th pass and are looking for a government job, then this is a great opportunity for you. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited applications for recruitment to 515 posts of apprentices in different trades. Through this recruitment process, the youth will get a good stipend along with training and there can also be a chance to get a permanent job in future.
When and how to apply?
The application process has started from BHEL from 16 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of BHEL, trichy.bhel.com. The last date of application has been fixed as 31 July 2025. After this no application will be accepted.
Total posts and trades
A total of 515 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. These include fitter, welder, turner, machinist, electrician, carpenter, painter, plumber, and other technical trades. This opportunity is very special for those youth who want to work in the technical field and want to make a future in the government sector.
Essential Qualification
To apply for these posts, candidates must be 10th or 12th pass. Along with this, there should be an ITI certificate in the relevant trade which should be obtained from a recognized institute. Candidates also have to note that they have passed the ITI exam in 2021, 2022 or 2023.
Age Limit
To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age 27 years. However, candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
Salary and Stipend
Candidates selected as apprentices will get a stipend of 8,000 to 9,000 per month during training. Apart from this, in trades where experience and skill are in high demand, the salary can go up to 65,000 per month. Doing apprenticeship in a big government company like BHEL is considered a strong start to the career in itself.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th and ITI. No written test or interview will be taken.
