War 2 Trailer: Hrithik Roshan Vs NTR Jr In YRF Spy Universe's Most Thrilling Actioner

The sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe and the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, War 2 marks the return of Hrithik Roshan in the lead role of RAW agent Kabir. Locking horns with him this time is Telugu superstar NTR Jr.

Also starring Kiara Advani, War 2 unlike the previous film is directed by Ayan Mukerji of Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva fame and is looking like the most thrilling entry in the blockbuster cinematic universe.

About War 2 Trailer

The 2-minute and 35-second trailer gives us a glimpse of the motivation that drives both our protagonists and it is “India First”.

As Ashutosh Rana’s Colonel Luthra mentions towards the end of the trailer that this time it is a war between two soldiers who are on the same side.

Now, why these soldiers are at loggerheads despite wanting the same thing has been kept under wraps.

The film also reportedly features Anil Kapoor and may also feature cameos by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari that’ll lead into Alpha, the next Spy Universe film releasing on Christmas 2025.

War 2 hits the screens on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. It will clash at the box office with Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra and Aamir Khan’s Coolie.
