Benefits of push-ups

A Harvard University study has also found that if push-ups are done regularly at the age of 30-40, then it has many benefits. This increases the capacity of the heart and the chances of cholesterol accumulation in the arteries are greatly reduced. According to the study, push-ups prevent many diseases, cardiac arrest and stroke. This study has been published in JAMA Network.

In the study, data of the intensity of pushups and health of some people in the fire brigade has been collected. After analyzing this data, it was found that the fire brigade personnel who did 40 pushups in half a minute had almost no risk of heart-related diseases such as heart attack, heart failure etc. for the next 10 years. However, the person who did less than 10 pushups in 30 seconds was found to have a higher risk of heart attack in the future.

Pushups bring the whole body into action.
The study says that by doing pushups, the whole body comes into action. In pushups, only the palms and toes touch the ground. The whole body remains raised. It requires a lot of strength. The maximum pressure is applied to the chest, due to which the pumping capacity of the heart increases. That is the power of the heart to pump a large amount of blood at the same time increases. At the same time, the blood vessels in the last part of the body also widen due to which blood circulation becomes very fast.
