Mumbai: A couple in Mumbaihas been cheated of Rs 3.5 lakh by fraudsters who claimed their children had been selected for a Cadbury Oreo advertisement with former cricketer M.S. Dhoni’s daughter, Ziva. The incident took place in June, and a complaint was filed at the Matunga police station on Sunday, June 22.
According to the police, the couple saw an advertisement for a company named Disney Kids India in a mall in Lower Parel. The ad claimed to offer opportunities in children’s advertisements. Interested, the couple contacted the number provided and were asked to send audition videos of their children from home, as reported by Zee 24 Taas.

He told them that their children were selected for a Cadbury Oreo ad featuring Ziva Dhoni. To proceed, they were asked to pay a registration and processing fee.
According to the report, the couple paid around Rs 1.5 lakh initially. Later, additional demands were made, and the total amount paid came to Rs 3.5 lakh. When there were no further updates about the ad shoot and no official address was given, the couple grew suspicious.
