Akash Deep has gone wicketless in India's second innings
The 29-year-old Prasidh Krishna, who took four wickets in the first innings, added Ben Duckett's scalp to his tally on Day 4 at The Oval as the left-hander edged a full delivery to the slip cordon as KL Rahul took a sharp catch.
A few overs later, Siraj took his second wicket of the innings, trapping skipper Ollie Pope lbw for 27 just when the Surrey batter was finding his groove. Siraj's first victim proved to be Zak Crawley, who got outsmarted by a yorker. Nevertheless, Akash Deep, who had replaced Anshul Kamboj in the XI, has proved to be ineffective. However, Brook's counterattack has pegged the tourists slightly back as England reached 164/3 at lunch, bringing the requirement down to 210 more runs.
At the time of writing this, the partnership between Brook and Joe Root had gone over 150 and the target had come down to below 100. The home side are currently in pursuit of 374 in pursuit of a commanding 3-1 series victory.
