In response, Delhi Capitals showed their batting prowess by comfortably chasing down the target of 160. Opener Abishek Porel was in top form, scoring a vital 51 runs off 36 balls, including 5 boundaries and a six. His steady innings provided the perfect foundation for DC’s chase. Alongside him, KL Rahul played a crucial knock of 57 runs off 42 balls, which featured 3 boundaries and 3 sixes.
Delhi’s chase was always under control, with the required run rate staying well within reach. Despite some late resistance from LSG, Delhi reached 161/2 in 17.5 overs, sealing the victory by 8 wickets. Though Delhi's chase was smooth, LSG did have a bright spot with the ball. Aiden Markram was the pick of the bowlers for the Super Giants, taking 2 wickets for 30 runs in 3 overs. His efforts were valiant, but the target was always a step too far for his team to defend.
