Charlotte Dawson's picture-perfect life with her fiancé Matt Sarsfieldand their two children was rocked last year when she learned that pro rugby player Matt had sent inappropriate messages to another woman. Then pregnant with her third baby - Gigi Dawson Sarsfield, now six months old - Charlotte and Matt had a temporary separation with Matt living away from the family home while he worked on himself.
After the other woman took her story to the press, influencer and TV personality Charlotte, who turns 33 on October 3, talked openly about the toll it took, saying: "Having to deal with the heartache, the hurt, the disappointment and being pregnant on top of it all… it’s been absolutely horrible.”
But a year later, and as she welcomes OK! into her home for a first exclusive peek at Gigi's pink paradise nursery, she reveals that now only are her and Matt "stronger than ever", they're also talking about finally saying their "I Do's" after getting engaged in 2020.

Speaking at the Blackpool home she shares with Matt and Gigi's big brothers, four-year-old Noah and two-year-old Jude, Charlotte reveals how they've managed to get things back on such a solid path.
"I’ve really learnt how strong I am,” she says. “We’ve had a tough couple of months and years but I can honestly say Matt and I are back as a family, and we’re stronger than ever.
"We’re both really tough people, and as long as we’re both working together towards the same goal, we know we can get there.
“I went through a lot last year and I feel like Gigi came at the right time and got me through it. I’m strong anyway, and I was very hormonal, but there was something about knowing I was having a girl that made me even stronger."
The woman involved in the drama was believed to the ex-girlfriend of one his rugby player pals, who Charlotte said at the time "tried her luck one night over text". She explained that an intoxicated Matt behaved like "an idiot" and sent her explicit photographs of himself.
Charlotte, the daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson, now says she and Matt have put in a lot of work to get back to a better place, and she feels proud of them as a couple.
Now, it's onto planning their Big Day, which she hopes will be an occasion that 'doesn't end'. "I haven’t got any dates planned yet, or started any planning, but it’s definitely the next exciting thing on the list,” she says.
“I’ve been thinking about the venue – I’d love to get married abroad because I don’t like the night to end. Weddings abroad usually feel like a big holiday that last days, and I just love the idea of it carrying on and on because I hate saying goodbye.”
