There are other affordable outdoor cooking gadgets available ahead of the May bank holiday. Over at Dunelm, this own-brand is £89, and is designed with a ceramic pizza stone for crispy, Italian-style pizzas.
It also has folding legs so it can be easily stored away during the winter. Meanwhile, Amazon has a for £99.99 - its built-in thermometer in the main BBQ grill chamber allows temperature monitoring without lifting the lid.
Back to Debenhams' offer on the Pizza Maker and BBQ Grill, the device has 30 customer reviews 27 of which have been rated five stars. A shopper commented: "Absolutely love my new pizza oven, amazing pizzas and cooks kebabs too! Love it, love it, love!"
A second commented: "Easy to use, easy to clean. Fantastic addition to the garden in the summer. Only had it for three weeks and used it loads already.
The device has a singular one-star review, reading: "This is meant to be a hybrid pizza oven/barbecue. In reality, it's incredibly inconvenient to use as a barbecue, because of the difficult access to the cooking surface and you can't adjust the grill's distance from the coals, and it simply is NOT a pizza oven.
"It's impossible to keep the temperature anywhere near hot enough to cook a pizza to anything resembling a pizza oven style. It's quicker to leave the pizza in a north-facing window on a cloudy day. Dreadful."
A fourth shopper added: "We had been looking for a pizza oven, and this one . Delivery was within 3 days, which was impressive. It was easy to fit together and took about 10 minutes, and I have to say it's a gorgeous-looking oven! It comes complete with a pizza stone.
"The best fuel to put in the bottom is kiln-dried wood. Don't put lots in, and we've found the small stick variety works best. Roughly 12 sticks in to start with then light. Close off bottom vent and chimney vent."
They continued: "It doesn't take long to get up to temperature and we found cooking at 300 is best. Always heat up your pizza stone from cold and never put it into the hot oven. We bought a pizza peel and whilst it's heating make the pizza on that then transfer into the oven.
"Keep an eye on the temperature if it gets to hot open a vent if too cold add more sticks. I guarantee you will never taste pizzas like it! It's the best pizza oven. Excellent all round from delivery to using."
A fifth purchaser said: "Absolutely love this, and a really good size, would definitely recommend."
