Love Is Blind UK star's dramatic wedding moment saw guests 'stop breathing'

A Love Is Blind UKstar ripped up his vows during a dramatic moment on his wedding day.

Wigan-born Kal and his partner Sarover quickly became firm favourites with fans after they formed a connection in the pods earlier this month. However, concerns were raised when Kal admitted Sarover was in fact different from his usual type.

Last week saw fans predicting what would happen between the pair based on them meeting one another's families as they started to plan their wedding. Today (August 27) has seen the last two episodes of this season drop on Netflix, which sees the couples arrive on their wedding day.

Sarover grew up in a modern Indian family and has never had a serious relationship or dated outside of her ethnic background before. For Kal, his dad is Pakistani and his mum is English, as he comes from a large, close-knit family.

And fans saw concerns raised by Kal's family, as his brother previously asked a brutal question. However, despite their differing backgrounds and family concerns, the two remained dedicated and appeared happy when it came to wedding planning.

But in the latest episodes, one dramatic moment on their wedding day saw guests "stop breathing". When it came to Kal sharing his vows, his actions had Sarover momentarily panicked as he ripped up his vows. He added: "It's all up here."

Sarover replied: "Oh my God, I was like, wait what? After I just did that (her vows)."

Continuing with his vows, Kal said: "I want to do these vows in the same way I spoke to you the first time I saw you. Hands held, eyes locked. Before entering this experiment, I had written down all the qualities I wanted in my future wife.

"Kind, cute, caring, thoughtful, fun, beautiful. You are all those things and so much more. Sarover, my posh pod princess, I love you."

When it came to declaring whether they wanted to continue with their marriage and take their relationship to the next step, there was no hesitation from Sarover as she said 'I do'. When Kal was asked if he would take Sarover as his wife, his mum could be heard whispering a simple plea to her son: "Say yes".

And Kal also confirmed "I do" as his mum added: "I stopped breathing then."

What's next for Sarover and Kal? Fans will have to wait until the reunion, which will air on Netflix on Sunday, August 31, at 9 pm.
