Manchester United started the summer in fast fashion in a bid to transform their Premier League fortunes. The club moved quickly to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves to begin strengthening Ruben Amorim's squad.
The Portuguese coach wants his team in place in time for the pre-season tour of the United States. Amorim wants to integrate new signings across the pond and not be incumbered by stars who have already been deemed surplus to requirements.
United still want to strengthen their forward line and have been linked with a move for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo. An out-and-out striker is also required with Viktor Gyokeres among the candidates.
The Red Devils have decided Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo's price-tag is too prohibitive. The Cherries wanted in the region of £70million for the attacker.

Sancho swapJuventus are willing to offer Dusan Vlahovic to Manchester Unitedin their bid to land Jadon Sancho. The Italians are open to an audacious swap deal as both sides look to offload their unwanted stars.
Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Sancho's services but, per Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve are willing to offer players to United in a bid to get a deal for Sancho over the line. United are hoping to see their finances boosted by the winger's exit, but Vlahovic could help solve United's striker issues.
It is uncertain whether Vlahovic would entertain a move to the Premier League however. The is said to have been 'unreceptive' to previous offers to leave the club despite having just a year remaining on his deal.

Ruben Amorim is hoping to transform his squad for next season but so far has seen limited change in the players at his disposal. The Portuguese coach has decided on a number of players he is happy to part ways with to help facilitate signing the likes of Bryan Mbeumo.
United are working on a number of high-profile sales, with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho expected to leave. No deal has come too fruition with the latter wearing the former's Aston Villa shirt recently, exits do seem expected.
Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho are all on the chopping block too. United will hope to secure permanent moves for players who were out on loan last term.
Manchester United's hopes ofsigning Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP have taken a hit, as Arsenal grow frustrated in negotiations for their alternative. The Gunners have been in talks for Gyokeres and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko.
Chances of the north London side opting for Gyokeres' signature appear to be increasing however. Arsenal are growing frustrated over the contract that Sesko's camp are demanding during talks, while Gyokeres' preferred destination is said to be Arsenal.
Sesko, 22, would cost around £70m which Arsenal are believed to be willing to pay. Contract demands are proving more problematic having exceeded their expectations however.
