Iron deficiency gives silent signals like fatigue, dizziness and weakness in the body, which can be dangerous to ignore.
You may be considering it as the effect of stress, lack of sleep or weather, but there can be a serious reason behind these symptoms, iron deficiency. When there is not enough iron in the body, not only does the energy level fall, but it also gives many other silent signals, which we often ignore.
Feeling tired again and again: When the amount of iron in the body decreases, the formation of hemoglobin decreases. Due to this, less oxygen reaches the body parts and you feel tired again and again, even if you are not working hard.
Dizziness or vertigo: Due to low iron, the brain does not get enough oxygen. The result is dizziness, feeling faint or unbalanced gait. These signs clearly show that iron deficiency cannot be ignored.
Shortness of breath or weakness: If you start feeling short of breath even after doing normal exercise or climbing stairs, it may be a sign that the body is not able to get enough oxygen, which indicates iron deficiency.
Pale face or lips: Iron deficiency reduces the amount of blood and the face starts looking pale or pale. You can also guess this yourself by looking at the color of the lips, skin under the eyes or nails.
Weak or breaking nails: Weak, spoon-like or easily breaking nails are also a sign of iron deficiency in the body. This change happens slowly, but ignoring it can be harmful.
Falling sick frequently: Iron deficiency can weaken your immune system, causing frequent colds, fever or infections. If your immunity is getting weak, then definitely get your iron level checked.
