
A huge number of firefighters were deployed to tackle a tower block blaze in Birmingham earlier today. West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) said crews attended the blaze in Colmore Circus Queensway, Birmingham, just after 4.30pm on Monday.
Six fire engines, three brigade response vehicles and a hydraulic aerial platform were sent to the fire which was on the top floor of the 16-storey high rise. A cordon was put in place, stretching from Snow Hill Queensway to Livery Street, according to WMFS.
