star Michael Fabricant made a "shocking" return to the famous house on Monday's episode (April 21), with fans dubbing the return "humiliating." The Former Conservative MP for Lichfield, who was the first celebrity evicted from this year's series, stunned fans by appearing the opening scenes of the episode as he entered the diary room dressed as the Easter Bunny. He then proceeded to plant easter eggs around the house, following instructions by Big Brother.
But fans were slamming the return, dubbing it "shocking" and "humiliating". "Sorry but Michael returning to #CBBUK like that was a bit humiliating for him no? i'm honestly shocked he would do that to himself!" blasted one fan. Another penned: "Oh Michael is just a bit sad at this point... Like watching your daily mail uncle go a bit too far off the deep end and it stops being funny....". More chimed in, adding: "Michael makes me cringe so bad," and "Jesus... they really like to take the piss out of Michael don't they."
Dressed as a white fluffy bunny,, Michael was seen sporting giant ears with an oversized yellow bowtie and a blue waistcoat.
He clung onto a wicker backet with pink and white ribbons stuffed with giant easter eggs and he hopped around the house hiding them as the housemates were asleep.
The contestants were then given clues to help them find the eggs by returning to certain parts of the house where things were done or said, sparking a few awkward moments between the contestants.
One question read: "Arguin with Chesney can make you delerious, the next egg is where Chesney said he was 100% serious."
Actress and comedian Donna Preston was heard moments later, guessing that it was Michael who probably snook in as the Easter bunny, with contestants having no knowledge of who returned to plant the eggs.
Fans were stunned atthe accuracy of her guess.
"maybe michael will come and dress as a bunny" DONNA WTF," said one fan.
"Did Donna just say what if Michael comes in dressed as a bunny??? HOW DID SHE KNOW THAT" added another.
Michael is said to have earned a whopping six-figures for his four days in the house, after reportedly being paid £120,000 to sign up.
Making a cool £30,000 for every day he spent in the famous compound, he was reportedly quick to say yes to a few more minutes.
Michael was only a housemate for less than 100 hours before his exit. And while in the house, he managed to cause a stir after clashing with a few housemates including and star Patsy Palmer. During the show's shopping task, former pop star asked the former politician his thoughts on immigration, which prompted Trisha to put him in his place.
