Speaking on the show, titled ': Can He Ever Be Forgiven?', royal commentator and the Countess of Sandwich Julie Montagu said that she believes reconciliation could be possible but that it "starts with Harry".
Ms Montagu said: "The public wants to forgive, but it needs to start with Harry." Discussing how a reunion could be possible, she added: "Number one, stop any time of interview where you're mentioning any member of your family - end of story."
Harry's most recent interview took place earlier this month, with the interview airing on Princess Charlotte's 10th birthday.
The inteview was conducted after he lost his legal appeal to change his security arrangements after he stepped down from royal duties. He told interview Nada Tawfik: "There have been so many disagreements, differences, between me and some of my family. This current situation that has been now ongoing for five years with regard to human life and safety is the sticking point. It is the only thing that's left.
"Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course they will never forgive me for lots of things."
Before revealing that King Charles is no longer speaking to him, he added: "But you know, there is. I would love reconciliation with my family. I've always, you know, there's no point in continuing to fight anymore."
Ms Montagu also added: "And then number two, if you really want to make that reconciliation, whether that's private or public, start that. Once that reconciliation begins, then the public can be made aware of that."
Julie also shared that the Duke of Sussex, 40, put himself in a tough spot by sharing sensitive information about the King's health - something that raised concerns among fans.
She said: "Is the cancer back, is he in remission or not, and I don't think Harry has done himself any favours by suggesting that his father does not have a lot of time left."
