Newcastle have reportedly tabled three bids totalling £125million as they look to breathe a fresh lease of life into their squad this summer. The Magpies are pushing for reinforcements at both ends of the pitch, with talks ongoing to sign Brighton star Joao Pedro, Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga and Burnley shot-stopper James Trafford.
Eddie Howe's side triple swoop is a major sign of intent from the Toon Army as they look to prepare themselves for another stab at Champions League football following an impressive campaign last season.
According to the Telegraph, Newcastle are in talks with Brighton, Forest and Burnley over a 'hugely ambitious' triple swoop, with an offer on the table for each of their respective targets and negotiations ongoing.
The Magpies are long-term admirers of Pedro and have 'verbally discussed' bids in the region of £50m for the Brazilian forward. The Seagulls are open to offloading their No. 9 this summer, but they want to 'maximise' the transfer fee they receive.
