The Elvis Presley immersive experience in London has been going from bad to worse.
After a string of one-star reviews (including from the Daily Express), disappointed fans have taken to social media to slam Elvis Evolution as a "shambles," an "utter scam," and "atrocious."
The source of their fury stems from a wide expectation that the new attraction would include an Elvis hologram performing with live music, as was teased when the show was originally announced.
Yet, in the end, the production simply used clips of the King from his '68 Comeback Special (which you can watch for free on YouTube) with three musicians performing live in front of it.
And this was only at the end of the walk-through, which was heavily focused on Elvis' childhood friend Sam Bell rather than the star himself.

Aside from the online slamming of Elvis Evolution, which costs as much as £300 for a VIP ticket, there's been reports of walkouts (one in tears), heckling and "noticeable booing". One performance was forced to end early after a pensioner was dragged out for audibly slamming the show. According to The Independent, there were "groans and grumblings throughout" and now screens display a message at one point reading: "Every member of the Elvis Evolution team puts their heart and soul into entertaining you. Any form of abuse toward them will not be tolerated."
This drastic action was not present when Daily Express attended opening night, heavily implying it's a response to the audible complaining during the shows. In fact, just this afternoon, that same message was posted on the official Elvis Evolution Instagram account, with comments turned off. As pointed out by the Independent, "that such a warning is even needed speaks volumes".
