Doom: The Dark Ages is undoubtedly one of this year's most anticipated new game releases, launching for , |S and PC on May 15.
With the release date just a few weeks away, Microsoft and Bethesda have announced a new range of limited edition accessories exclusively for Xbox.
This includes an awesome new controller, which is inspired by the Doom Slayer's armour. Priced at £74.99, the new Doom controller has a May 2 release date and can be pre-ordered from by clicking the link below.
According to the official description, the main body of the controller is inspired by the character's matte green armour, complete with silver helmet spikes and plated sheathing across the top case.
The rubberised grips are said to be outfitted with a leather-like feel, while the "sinister red thumbstick" matches the DOOM Slayer's chest port.
You've also got green ABXY buttons representing the Sentinel alphabet, as well as an orange left trigger inspired by the Shield Saw.
As an added bonus, fans who pre-order the Xbox controller will receive a code for the DOOM Slayer Executioner Skin in the upcoming game.
In addition to the controller, Xbox fans can also pick up a new Doom: The Dark Ages wrap for the Xbox Series X console, as well as an Elite game pad. Both accessories can be pre-ordered from the Microsoft website.
As for the game itself, Doom: The Dark Ages is a prequel to the 2016 Doom and its sequel Doom Eternal.
"In this third instalment of the modern DOOM series, players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell."
Fans can expect a selection of new weapons and items, including a Mecha Dragon and Skull Crusher weapon, the latter of which fires bone fragments.
Needless to say, the popular gory kills are also back, complete with improvements and even more variety.
