Aizawl: Mizoram governor Gen Vijay Kumar Singh on Monday led the state-level Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Plantation Drive 2025 at Sumtual, under the Aizawl Smart City Project, reports HC Vanlalruata. Accompanied by senior officials and state minister Lalrinpuii, the governor planted Ashoka trees to symbolise a firm commitment to the protection and education of girl children helping progress with environmental duties.
