CBSE begins registration process for obtaining class 12th scanned answer sheets: Here is how to apply

The Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) has started accepting applications from students who wish to obtain scanned copies of their class 12th answer books. Candidates who are not satisfied with their CBSE board results can obtain scanned copies of their answer sheets by registering themselves online at cbse.gov.in.

Once students receive the photocopies of their CBSE class 12th answer sheets, they will be able to apply for verification of marks via the same portal. As per the CBSE guidelines, only the students who have registered and obtained their scanned answer sheets will be eligible to apply for verification and re-evaluation of their marks.
How to apply for CBSE scanned answer sheets?Students can register online at the official website, cbse.gov.in, to receive scanned photocopies of their class 12th answer sheets. Here is how:

Visit the above mentioned official website

Navigate to the Latest Updates section

Click on the link to apply for scanned copies under the latest updates section

Select your class

Input all the information required to register

Submit the information along

Save the application number generated for further reference

For obtaining the scanned answer book, students have to pay an application fee of Rs. 700 for each subject.
CBSE re-evaluation and verification datesThe re-evaluation and marks verification window for CBSE will open May 28, 2025 onwards at the official website of CBSE. Students will be able to apply for the same till June 3, 2025. Along with the re-evaluation application, students are also required to submit an application fee for the re-evaluation process.

• CBSE marks verification fee : Rs. 500 per answer book
  
• CBSE re-evaluation fee: Rs. 100 per question
