The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will close the registration window for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2025 session on April 15, 2025. Eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can apply through the official website, icsi.edu. The exam will be held in remote proctored mode on May 3, 2025.
The CSEET serves as the entry-level exam for admission to the Company Secretary (CS) course. The examination is held four times a year, in January, May, July, and November. The CS qualification is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as equivalent to a postgraduate degree.
CSEET 2025: Eligibility and exemption rulesStudents who have either passed or are appearing in their Class 12 exams are eligible to apply for the CSEET.
However, the following categories of candidates are exempted from taking the entrance test:

Step 1. Visit the ICSI official website, icsi.edu.
Step 2. On the homepage look for the link to register for CSEET.
Step 3. Register yourself on the portal and fill out the form as guided.
Step 4. Upload the required documents and pay the applicable registration fee.
Step 5. Submit the form and download a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

CSEET 2025: Exam pattern and modeThe CSEET exam will be conducted in a Remote Proctored Mode, allowing students to take the test from home under live supervision. The exam will cover four subjects, Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam will have no negative marking.
To qualify, candidates must score an aggregate of 50% and at least 40% in each paper.
