The Ring General has expressed his opinion during a candid conversation with Ariel Helwani. During the interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Gunther said, “Well, no, I’m not. There’s two main event spots. Some people argue there’s only one, that’s the night two. At the end of the day, those are big achievements."

He also opined that he is not worried about being left out. "But I don’t want to stress about it. Because in the long term, later on, when I finished my career and I know I was able to be financially set up, took care of my family, and that I did all of this, doing the thing that I always wanted to do, I don’t know if I never main event WrestleMania that’s going to make a difference about how proud or happy I will be about my career," Gunther stated.

He further added about the emotional challenges that wrestlers go through when they miss out such a big opportunity, “So I think that’s a mental challenge for the wrestlers, you want to do all those things naturally. That’s like the first reactions, like you want to achieve this, and you want to do that."

Later, he added, “I’d rather try to be very focused on what I’m doing at the moment, and put all my effort in there, put my full focus on that, and try to make the best thing possible. Yeah, I think that’s when really good stuff happens.”

Gunther currently wants to focus on his upcoming bout and will try his best to perform at the upcoming bout, as he believes that is the only good thing that can happen to be present in the moment and put all the effort there.
