Tesla will open its second India showroom in New Delhi on Monday, bringing its flagship electric car experience closer to the capital’s audience.
The new Tesla Experience Centre , located at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, will open its doors at 2 PM on August 11. It will allow visitors to see and explore the company’s latest electric vehicles for the Indian market.
In a post on social media platform X, Tesla announced, "Tesla Experience Centre, Aerocity - opening tomorrow, August 11, at 2 pm. Delhi, Worldmark 3."
The Aerocity outlet follows the company’s first Indian showroom at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
Tesla entered India officially on July 15 with the launch of its midsize electric SUV, the Model Y, starting at nearly Rs 60 lakh. Initially, it will be the only model available in the country, offered in two variants, Rear-Wheel Drive (Rs 60 lakh) and Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (Rs 68 lakh).
Customers can add the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package for an additional Rs 6 lakh.
The Model Y comes in six colours, Stealth Grey at no extra charge, and Pearl White Multi-Coat, Diamond Black, Ultra Red, Quicksilver, and Glacier Blue for an additional cost.
Interior themes are available in white or black, with a five-seat configuration.
The Long Range RWD variant offers a range of 622 km, accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and can add up to 267 km of range in 15 minutes using Tesla’s supercharging system.
Both variants have heated and ventilated power-reclining front seats, heated power-folding rear seats, eight exterior cameras including a new front-facing one, and second-generation connectivity hardware. A hands-free power trunk adds to convenience.
At present, deliveries and registration are open only in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, with prices varying by state taxes. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
