Lauren Sanchez , philanthropist and author, is aware of the caustic words people are spewing about her 15-minute space sojurn with Gayle King, Kate Perry, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn and she has a reply to it. In an interview with PEOPLE, she said all these words get her really fired up as thre are thousands of Blue Origin employees working for this because they love it.
Social media users, including prominent personalities, asked what purpose the 'rich girls' trip' served apart from showing off Lauren Sanchez's fiance Jeff Bezos's money. People viciously trolled them for their reaction after touching down, saying that Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were less dramatic than the six women who went to a fancy trip to space.
“I would love to have them come to Blue Origin and see the thousands of employees that don't just work here but they put their heart and soul into this vehicle,” she said. “They love their work and they love the mission and it's a big deal for them.”
“So when we hear comments like that, I just say, 'Trust me. Come with me. I'll show you what this is about, and it's, it's really eye-opening,' ” she said.

The company’s account responded with the comment: “Can we send her back”.
It was not a mistake and The Wedndy's account then reposted photos of Perry kissing the ground after landing back on Earth, writing, “I kissed the ground and I liked it,” in reference to her 2008 song “I Kissed a Girl.”
After a fan made a pun about Perry's songwriting, Wendy’s added: “Now she knows what it’s like to be a plastic bag floating in the wind,” referencing the opening line of her 2010 song “Firework”.
The account added: “When we said women in stem this isn’t what we meant.”
