Udaipur: Teacher Allegedly Forces 9th Grade Student to Slaughter Chicken During Exam in Kotda

Incident Sparks Outrage in Tribal Region; Inquiry Underway

Udaipur, April 26 — A shocking incident has emerged from the tribal region of Kotda in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district, where a teacher allegedly forced a 9th-grade student to slaughter a chicken during an ongoing examination.

The incident reportedly took place at Government Higher Secondary School, Sawan Kyara, during the English subject exam. According to locals, teacher Mohanlal Doda pressured the student into bringing a chicken, slaughtering it, and cleaning it, all while the exam was underway.

Outrage Among Villagers and Political Intervention

When the student’s family learned of the incident, they immediately alerted local representatives. The matter quickly went viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage among villagers.

Advocate Himmat Tawar, the BJP Mandal President, brought the issue to the attention of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Hansmukh Kumar, Udaipur District Collector, and Tribal Affairs Minister Babulal Kharadi. In response, the minister urgently demanded a detailed report from the district administration.

Subsequently, SDO Hansmukh Kumar visited the school to launch a formal investigation. Statements were recorded from the concerned student and other students about the incident and the distribution of midday meals during the exam.

Teacher Fled with Cooked Meat, Investigation Continues

According to SDO Hansmukh Kumar, initial findings revealed that during the examination, the teacher took the student along, had the chicken slaughtered, and later absconded with the meat. A compiled report has been submitted to the District Collector, and further administrative action is awaited.

The district administration has assured that appropriate measures will be taken based on the investigation’s outcome.
